Huge fragmentation in Android world requires new devices to be added to local test devices who do not prefer remote device testing services. Not only there are still Android 2.x and 3.x users (for who cares about those users too), there are also variety of modified Android systems (not talking about rooting devices); almost every Android device manufacturer customizes Android for their own use and unfortunately the same Android SDK usage differs on every device (even on every model of some manufacturers).
As a result, testing RADYO on multiple devices and OS versions is a must.
Therefore here is the latest (but not the newly released) device added to test devices which are used to test RADYO.

After the next generation iOS version of RADYO, Android version is updated today to include first steps of RADYO’s Location Based Music Discovery service. Currently playing stations and songs, most popular artists and songs can be seen according to the location. Next favorite but known station is just one touch away!

RADYO has been featured again on Windows Phone 3 times recently on 1st, 9th and 15th of Jan, 2015.
RADYO captured the first place on Android in Music category, leaving popular and well-known applications behind.
Besides in popularity in iOS devices, Mac OS X version got a lot of attention too!

A new update of RADYO for iOS will start to include various extensions or widgets including Today widgets which you can view and use through the notification window by swiping your finger from top, anywhere.
One of these extensions include “What’s playing around” and here is a screenshot of how it looks for now.

The ugly duckling did it again. RADYO became the most preferred radio application on Android (Google Play Store) leaving Spotify, TuneIn and others behind in Turkey.

RADYO is now a universal application (which means, an optimized single application that works both on iPad and iPhone beautifully) with version 1.1 update. It was initially named “RADYO for iPad” where it was replaced with “RADYO for iOS” with version 1.1. RADYO now tracks unlimited number of stations all around the world. “Big Data” for great music!

This is a frequently asked question related to my product RADYO. Most of the people who ask this question are either software developers or they work in a company which includes a software department.
This post is far short than you can imagine.
Here are the answers:
- Every product may be an application but not every application be a product.
- A product’s name, under normal circumstances, cannot be internationalized. (There are exceptions to this like “Coca-Cola” (not the company, the bottle) is renamed to “Koka-Kola” in Turkey for a limited or unknown duration.)
- Why the Turkey originated jean company “Mavi” is not selling as “Blue” in USA?
- Why Facebook is not named “Yuzkitabi” in Turkey?
Ask your self about what is the difference between an application that is not a product and an application that is also product. You may still think that every single application is indeed a product, please let me know about your theory and share me the details of why every single application is exactly similar to a bottle of Coke, a jean, a car.
